An established and growing insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Broker / Account Executive to join its collaborative commercial team. This role sits within a well-structured SME to mid-market function, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries. The team operates in a genuinely collegiate way, with shared responsibility for servicing clients and mentoring from highly experienced brokers. This opportunity would suit a developing commercial broker or an experienced assistant ready to step up, who values teamwork, learning and long term progression rather than working in isolation.
Your new role
Supporting and servicing a portfolio of SME to mid-market commercial clients
Managing renewals, endorsements and day to day client enquiries
Working closely with senior brokers and account managers on more complex accounts
Relationship based client interaction with a longstanding portfolio
Contributing as part of a close-knit, team driven commercial function
What you'll need to succeed
Tier 1 insurance qualification (essential)
At least 2 years’ commercial broking experience, or strong assistant experience ready to step up
Comfortable working within a team based environment
Keen to learn from senior brokers and broaden technical capabilities
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
What you'll get in return
Salary range circa $80k–$100k + super, dependent on experience
