This specialist plaintiff law firm, renowned for leading institutional abuse litigation, is looking to make its next hire into their Sydney CBD office. They are looking to make up to 4 hires (at different seniority levels) due to the amount of work they have coming in.

Role highlights

• They are the leading firm in terms of legal precedent and litigation. As an example, they have appeared in the High Court with all 7 high court judges hearing their case
• Collaborate with clerks and senior counsel on high-value abuse matters from inception to resolution
• Draft advice letters, pleadings, position papers and daily correspondence
• Act as first point of contact for new enquiries - taking instructions and advising on merits
• Attend interlocutory hearings, mediations and settlement conferences
• Liaise with opposing solicitors, medical experts and other third parties

• Demonstrated expertise in institutional abuse matters
• Strong advocacy skills and client-centric approach
