A04 Assistant Project Manager
Opportunity to work across multiple Civil Infrastructure projects with a Responsive Maintenance team.
Your new company
Our client is a Brisbane-based major transport authority who are looking to create a single integrated network that is accessible to everyone. Their aim is to make a difference across Queensland with their projects. They are looking to engage an Assistant Project Manager in their responsive maintenance contract team.
Your new role
In your new role you will be based in Brisbane with some travel between the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast projects. The role involves providing operation expertise on maintenance and operational matters relating to traffic management processes. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Design and Update Traffic Guidance Schemes
- Assist in the delivery of assigned Civil Infrastructure Projects
- Assist with the preparation and review of project plans as well as assisting with the procurement activities as required.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of audits and inspections
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will ideally have the following:
- Valid Class C Queensland Driver's Licence
- Ability to Travel between Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast
- Ability to partake in nightshift if required occasionally
- Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) Qualifications
- A willingness to obtain a Traffic Management Design (TMD) Open Qualification within 12 months
- Knowledge of AGTTM, QGTTM, AS1742.3, MUTCD Part 3, Guideline - Traffic Management at Works on Roads, QLD guide to traffic management, Traffic Management for Construction or Maintenance Work Code of Practice, MRTS02 (Technical Specifications and Annexure) & TMR Technical Notes
- Qualifications or experience in Internal Auditing and/or Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety
