We are seeking a Student Health Promotion Officer for an immediate start. Initially offered as a temporary assignment, this role has strong potential to transition into a permanent position, making it ideal for an ambitious candidate looking to establish themselves within a supportive and purpose-driven environment.

Working within a collaborative wellbeing team, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering health promotion initiatives that create positive outcomes for a diverse student community.

Your new role

As the Student Health Promotion Officer, you will:

  • Develop and deliver engaging health promotion programs and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Coordinate impactful awareness campaigns, workshops and events.
  • Create educational resources focused on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive positive health outcomes.
  • Support student-led wellbeing programs and ambassador initiatives.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.

This is a highly visible role that will allow you to make a genuine difference while gaining valuable experience across health promotion, stakeholder engagement, project coordination and student wellbeing.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • A qualification in Health Promotion, Public Health, Social Work, Community Development or a related discipline.
  • Experience delivering health promotion, prevention, wellbeing or community-based programs.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities.
  • A proactive, positive and collaborative approach.
  • A genuine passion for wellbeing, education and supporting others to thrive.

What you'll get in return

  • Competitive pay rate of $43.47 - $48.00 per hour + Super.
  • Equivalent salary package of approximately $85,000 - $90,000 + Super.
