Accounts Officer role | Fortitude Valley | $80,000 - $85,000 + Super

Your new company

This QLD-based construction company is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join their team. This permanent full-time role will be based in their Fortitude Valley offices, which is located close to public transport connections.

Your new role

Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Performing end to end accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconciling creditor accounts and bank accounts
  • Liaising with creditors, project staff and stakeholders
  • Assisting with providing administrative support, including answering the phone, ordering office supplies etc.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
  • Previous experience working in an accounts processing position
  • Experience with various systems, ideally construction-based systems
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills
