Your new role
- Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings for training, seminars, conferences, and development activities
- Process learning and development applications and ensure bookings comply with Council policies and budgets
- Liaise with employees, training providers, and accommodation providers to coordinate bookings and logistics
- Maintain accurate booking records, costs, and supporting documentation
- Process and monitor employee travel reimbursements and related expenses
- Provide guidance and support to staff on travel procedures and booking requirements
- Monitor booking trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Assist with coordinating training logistics across multiple teams and departments
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in booking coordination, travel administration, or a similar support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and competing priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing tasks independently
- Experience in customer service, training coordination, or bookings administration highly regarded
