Your new company

Join a key Federal Government agency as a Senior Azure & AWS Cloud Engineer, leading the design, delivery and operation of secure cloud platforms that support critical national data and analytics capabilities. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll drive cloud engineering initiatives, uplift platform capabilities, and mentor a team of engineers in a complex enterprise environment.

Your new role

• Lead a team of cloud engineers delivering Azure and AWS infrastructure

• Build and automate cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code

• Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines

• Troubleshoot complex cloud and platform issues

• Contribute to architecture, technical decision-making and platform uplift initiatives

• Mentor team members and improve engineering practices across the organisation

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong cloud engineering experience across both Microsoft Azure and AWS

• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitOps practices

• Infrastructure as Code and automation expertise

• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance and governance

• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
