Hays is partnering with a South Australian Government department to recruit experienced Customer Service Officers for a short-term opportunity based in Adelaide's CBD.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing contact centre environment supporting customers through inbound enquiries and service delivery. We are seeking adaptable and resilient customer service professionals who are available to work across a 24/7 roster, including overnight shifts and weekends.

Your new role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for a range of customer enquiries. Working within a fast-paced contact centre environment, you will provide professional support, resolve issues efficiently and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a high volume of inbound calls
  • Providing accurate information and advice to customers
  • Updating and maintaining records across multiple systems
  • Escalating complex enquiries when required
  • Meeting service standards and performance targets
  • Delivering a professional and customer-focused experience at all times

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous contact centre or high-volume customer service experience
  • Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent data entry and computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts (7:00pm – 7:00am) and weekends
  • Availability to commence immediately
