Your new company
Established over 5 decades ago, our client has become an industry leader and is continuing to grow. They are seeking a permanent Payroll Officer to join their small payroll team who will be responsible for full function payroll processing. Their office is in Western Sydney, and you are required to be in the office for 5 days.
Your new role
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and checking all payroll data prior to processing
- Processing weekly pay for various business entities nationally
- Interpret and maintain knowledge of Enterprise Agreements and Fair Work Awards
- Maintain and update all payroll data within our payroll system
- Prepare and submit superannuation payments, tax, and end of year reconciliations
- Address all employee payroll queries in a timely manner
- Support payroll system upgrades and migrations including time and attendance
- Provide payroll analysis and reporting
- Reconciliation for statutory reporting
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Awards is a MUST!
- Must have demonstrated experience in processing complex payrolls
- Knowledge of payroll statutory requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner
