Hays is currently recruiting for an entry level Accounts Payable focused Finance Officer role within a large and well-established organisation. This position sits within a busy finance operations team and is well-suited to someone who enjoys administrative, process-driven work with a strong data entry component.
Your new role
- Process invoices accurately and within required timeframes
- Maintain supplier records and support accounts payable processes
- Perform data entry, reconciliations and support financial controls
- Assist with credit card transaction processing and reconciliations
- Respond to internal and external queries in a timely, professional manner
- Support broader finance team with administrative tasks and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or finance administration
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, high-volume processing work
- Confident with data entry and financial systems (ERP exposure highly regarded)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn within a structured environment
