This Federal Government agency plays a key role in delivering national reform to improve outcomes for Australians living with disability. You will join a high-profile program focused on strengthening planning, delivery and governance, working within a large, complex and multi-stream environment.


Your new role

We are seeking experienced EL1 professionals in Program Planning/Scheduling, Project Coordination, and Assurance to support delivery within a major reform program.

Depending on your background, you will contribute across one or more of the following areas:

Program Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain integrated program schedules
  • Align timelines across multiple workstreams
  • Identify dependencies, critical paths, and delivery risks
  • Provide schedule-based insights and reporting to executives

Project Coordination & Delivery

  • Lead and coordinate project planning and delivery activities
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and governance processes
  • Prepare briefings, reports, and governance documentation
  • Ensure projects align to strategic priorities and program outcomes

Assurance & Governance

  • Coordinate assurance activities across a complex program
  • Support audits, reviews and external assurance processes
  • Maintain assurance frameworks, registers and reporting
  • Analyse findings and provide insights to senior stakeholders


What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for candidates who bring:

  • Experience in PMO, program delivery, or governance/assurance environments
  • Background working in government or large-scale transformation programs
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and complex stakeholder environments
  • Experience using project or scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear insights to senior stakeholders
  • Experience in integrated planning, project delivery, or assurance/risk functions
