Your new role
As a Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of complex engineering upgrade projects across a diverse residential asset portfolio. Working closely with senior engineers and project teams, you will contribute technical expertise, coordinate project activities and help ensure upgrades are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical engineering advice (civil, structural or hydraulics) on new and existing assets
- Managing engineering elements of upgrade projects from concept through to completion
- Reviewing designs, reports and specifications, and providing recommendations
- Coordinating consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders across projects
- Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Supporting inspection programmes and professional services delivery
- Tracking project progress, reporting on performance and maintaining accurate records
- Contributing to continuous improvement by sharing best practice and lessons learnt
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Demonstrated experience working within a residential property or asset environment
- Strong project management capability across complex engineering works
- Ability to analyse technical issues and provide practical, evidence-based solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Sound understanding of risk management, compliance and engineering standards
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
