Working as part of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to critical mission outcomes that directly support national objectives. The positions are for 12 month labour hire contracts with the possibility of a 12 month extension.
Your new role
We are seeking multiple APS6 Intelligence Analysts to join a high-performing operational team, delivering intelligence support across a range of functions. Positions available include:
- Theatre Intelligence Plans (TIP) Analysts (3)
- Conflict Intelligence Plans (CIP) Analysts (2)
- Requirements Collection Manager (RCM) Analyst (1)
- Intelligence Planning Team (IPT) Analyst (1)
- Intelligence Red Team (RT) Analyst (1)
- Intelligence Systems Development (ISD) Analyst (1)
In these roles, you will deliver all-source intelligence analysis to support operational planning, situational awareness, and decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
- Producing high-quality intelligence outputs such as summaries, threat assessments, situation updates, and briefings
- Supporting operational and contingency planning activities
- Delivering structured analytical techniques and intelligence assessments
- Engaging with stakeholders across the intelligence community
- Contributing to the development and refinement of intelligence processes
Depending on your specialisation, you may also:
- Provide technical advice on classified intelligence systems
- Support deployment and maintenance of intelligence ICT capabilities
- Contribute to capability planning and system development
- Deliver sensitive briefings to senior leadership
You will work within a classified environment, sometimes outside standard hours, with surge periods requiring extended shifts.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these positions, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in intelligence analysis and assessment
- Existing Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance (essential)
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Experience producing intelligence reports and briefings in high-tempo environments
- Ability to work collaboratively within integrated teams
Desirable:
- Formal intelligence training or relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience with advanced analytical techniques
- Completion of, or willingness to undertake, the Joint Operational Planning Course
