Commercial Portfolio Director
Docklands, Melbourne | Contract opportunity | $64.28ph +Super
Your new company
You will be joining a leading global property organisation, supporting a high profile corporate client across a significant commercial portfolio. This is an opportunity to join a well-established account team in a role focused on maintaining continuity, protecting portfolio performance and ensuring commercial matters continue to progress effectively during a transition period.
Your new role
As Commercial Portfolio Director, you will operate as a senior individual contributor with responsibility for maintaining service continuity across a national commercial portfolio. This is not a people leadership role, but rather a hands-on, client-facing position that requires someone who can step in quickly, build credibility and keep leasing, portfolio and stakeholder activities moving with minimal disruption.
A key focus of the role will be managing complex commercial office transactions, including lease renewals, options, market rent reviews and broader transaction activity. This experience is essential, as the role requires someone who can navigate office leasing matters confidently and deliver commercially sound outcomes in a live portfolio environment.
You will work closely with the client to support portfolio strategy, manage critical lease events and ensure data, reporting and governance standards are maintained. The position also requires the use of the client’s CRE platform, Portfolio, so prior exposure to lease management systems and the ability to work confidently in a data-driven environment will be important.
In addition, this role will work alongside project management teams in relation to an active master plan refurbishment, ensuring leasing activity, stakeholder communication and commercial decision-making remain aligned to the broader asset strategy and refurbishment program.
