Your new role
We are currently seeking reliable and safety-conscious forklift &operators to join a dynamic logistics and warehouse team. You will play a key role in the movement, storage, and dispatch of steel products, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts to load, unload, and move steel products safely.
- Preparing orders for dispatch, including picking, packing, and labelling.
- Conducting quality checks and ensuring goods are handled with care.
- Coordinating with warehouse and transport teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Following all safety procedures and site protocols.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Valid forklift licence (LF)
- Previous experience in despatch, warehousing, or steel handling preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.
