Your new role
You will lead the bid and tender function with full ownership of performance and outcomes. The focus sits on improving win rates, lifting submission quality, and building a structured, scalable approach to pursuing opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the full tender life cycle across complex and high-value submissions
- Set a clear bid strategy and prioritisation frameworks.
- Improve conversion metrics and commercial outcomes
- Introduce tools and systems to improve efficiency and consistency
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape compelling submissions
- Develop capability across the wider business to support bids
- Track pipeline activity, reporting on performance and trends
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in tender, bid, or proposal leadership roles
- Strong record securing work within government or regulated environments
- Commercial mindset with focus on revenue and conversion
- Ability to manage complex submissions under tight deadlines
- Experience working with bid platforms, CRM systems, or automation tools
- Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience leading or mentoring teams
