Your new role

You will lead the bid and tender function with full ownership of performance and outcomes. The focus sits on improving win rates, lifting submission quality, and building a structured, scalable approach to pursuing opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage the full tender life cycle across complex and high-value submissions
  • Set a clear bid strategy and prioritisation frameworks.
  • Improve conversion metrics and commercial outcomes
  • Introduce tools and systems to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to shape compelling submissions
  • Develop capability across the wider business to support bids
  • Track pipeline activity, reporting on performance and trends

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in tender, bid, or proposal leadership roles
  • Strong record securing work within government or regulated environments
  • Commercial mindset with focus on revenue and conversion
  • Ability to manage complex submissions under tight deadlines
  • Experience working with bid platforms, CRM systems, or automation tools
  • Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience leading or mentoring teams
