Your new role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join this close-knit engineering team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving plant and equipment reliability, ensuring minimal downtime in a fast-paced production environment. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting across site equipment
- Conducting breakdown repairs in a timely manner
- Performing preventative maintenance activities
- Supporting continuous improvement and maintenance strategies
- Assisting across trades when required
- Working closely with operations to optimise equipment performance
What you'll need to succeed
- Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical – Fitting & Machining)
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or agricultural environments
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
- Proactive approach to preventative maintenance
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Solid communication and time management skills
- Experience within poultry or livestock environments will be highly regarded.
