Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist Commercial & Property legal team and work on major projects that directly support the organisation’s operations and long-term strategy.
In this role, you will:
- Provide high-quality, timely and pragmatic legal advice across commercial, property and operational matters
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including leases, licences, construction and capital works contracts, procurement arrangements and other commercial documentation
- Advise on significant infrastructure, facilities and services projects
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation, building trusted and effective working relationships
- Manage complex legal matters with a high degree of autonomy
- Contribute to strategic legal initiatives and continuous improvement within the legal function
- Collaborate across legal specialisations to deliver integrated, commercially sound outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, commercial insight and stakeholder engagement skills.
You will have:
- A law degree and a current practising certificate
- At least 5 years’ post-admission experience and strong technical capability across commercial contracts and property and/or construction law
- The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in a complex environment
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong commercial judgement
