Your new role
You will be responsible for:
- Deliver high-level governance and executive support, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and informed decision-making.
- Lead secretariat functions for executive committees, including agenda development, briefing coordination and action tracking.
- Provide strategic advice by interpreting legislation, policies and governance frameworks across complex and sensitive matters.
- Produce high-quality briefings, reports and executive communications tailored to diverse audiences.
- Coordinate competing priorities, monitor risks and drive the delivery of outcomes that support strategic objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience in governance and secretariat support within government or large, complex organisations.
- Advanced ability to analyse and synthesise complex information into clear, concise and fit-for-purpose communications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SharePoint and information management, including content development and maintaining structured information architecture.
- Experience in project coordination and continuous improvement, with a focus on enhancing governance, communication and operational practices.
The Logistics
- Contract until the end of December 2026, with a possibility for extension or permanency.
- $55.24 (APS5) and $60.26 (APS6) per hour (plus superannuation).
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Opportunities across NSW in Newcastle, Wollongong, Taree, Gosford, Chatswood, and Bankstown.
