Statewide Manager – Support Services
Your New Role
This senior leadership role provides strategic, operational and practice oversight of statewide separation and support services. These specialist services support individuals, parents and families who are separated, separating or experiencing post‑separation conflict, with a strong focus on child wellbeing, safety and effective co‑parenting.
Reporting at a senior level, you will lead multidisciplinary teams delivering services including family dispute resolution, mediation, children’s contact services and associated counselling and education programs. You will balance strategic leadership with hands‑on management, ensuring services are compliant, evidence‑informed and responsive to complex family needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will be providing strategic and operational leadership across separation and support services across the state. You will also be:
- Ensuring strong clinical and practice governance, including risk screening, ethical decision‑making and quality assurance
- Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary workforce, fostering reflective practice and professional development
- Managing service performance, reporting, budgets and funding requirements
- Contributing to organisational strategy, service planning and continuous improvement
- Building strong partnerships with legal, community and government stakeholders
- Promoting child‑safe, inclusive and culturally responsive practice across all services
What You’ll Need to Succeed
In previous roles, you would have demonstrated senior leadership experience within community, human services or family support environments and have extensive experience in separation, post‑separation, family law–related or family support services. You’ll also bring:
- Strong knowledge of child‑focused, family‑centred and conflict‑informed practice frameworks
- Proven ability to lead services involving family dispute resolution, mediation or related programs
- Highly developed communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of experience and expertise
- Postgraduate qualifications and knowledge of the Australian family law system will be highly regarded
