Your new role

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in senior communications or stakeholder engagement roles.
• Proven capability across community engagement, media relations, correspondence, and issues management.
• Experience working in government or major infrastructure project environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including handling sensitive issues and complex conversations.
• Experience in major infrastructure project environments and social media competency, will also be highly regarded.
• IAP2 or equivalent training in community engagement and public participation.
• Knowledge of the infrastructure planning lifecycle.
• Experience leading or supervising communications or engagement staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and accuracy.
• A current Class C driver’s licence and ability to attend site-based meetings.
• White Card or ability to obtain it within six months.
• Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
