Your new role

As a Business Services Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the firm's growing Business Services division. Managing a portfolio of quality clients, you will work closely with the Partners on complex compliance and advisory engagements while providing mentorship and guidance to a capable team of accountants.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of business and high-net-worth clients
  • Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and related compliance work
  • Providing business, tax and strategic advisory services
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Managing workflow, deadlines and team performance
  • Coaching and developing intermediate and senior accountants
  • Working directly with the Partners on complex engagements and growth initiatives
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and success of the practice
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • 7+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting
  • Previous experience managing client portfolios and staff
  • Strong technical taxation and business services knowledge
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive and commercial approach to client service
  • A genuine interest in advisory work and mentoring junior staff
  • The drive and ambition to progress your career within a growing firm
