Your new role
- Manage a portfolio of ongoing cases, supporting individuals over time rather than handling one-off matters
- Build and maintain relationships with people experiencing injury, illness, or life‑impacting events
- Coordinate appropriate support services and next steps aligned to individual needs and recovery goals
- Engage with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely and appropriate outcomes
- Monitor progress, identify barriers, and help guide matters toward resolution
- Balance multiple cases while maintaining consistent communication and follow-up
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in workers compensation, personal injury claims, insurance claims, or a related customer‑focused environment (rehabilitation work, social work, or similar – different types of case management backgrounds could work for this role)
- The ability to manage sensitive, sometimes complex situations with empathy and professionalism
- Strong communication skills and confidence building rapport over ongoing interactions
- Comfort managing a portfolio and prioritising competing needs over time
