Your new role
HICAPS (Health Industry Claims and Payments Service) is a service provided by National Australia Bank (NAB) that simplifies the process of healthcare claims and payments.
HICAPS allows healthcare providers to process claims for private health insurers directly at the point of service, making it easier and faster for patients to claim their health benefit.

Your responsibilities
As a member of the HICAPS Outbound Sales team, you will focus on first-call resolution and customer obsession. This team values collaboration to best support existing and new clients of healthcare professionals who are interested to join HICAPS.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to a list of existing clients who have indicated their interest to creating an account with HICAPS through outbound and inbound calls (no cold calling)
- Educating customers about HICAPS features, preparing accurate quotations, and responding to any requests or enquiries
- Assisting with the application process and ensuring all documentation are accurate and completed
This position is a 6-month temporary contract starting the 1st June 2026, with opportunities to extend. You will work at NAB Office 395 Bourke Street CBD, with rotating rosters between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. The pay rate is at $37.13ph+super. The team works 3 days from home and 2 days from the office.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- Prior to contact centre or phone-based work experience
- Prior sales experience is a strong benefit.
- Strong verbal communications
- Detail oriented and resilient
