This waterboard is seeking a Flood Community Engagement Advisor to develop, influence and lead proactive communications and engagement initiatives, putting Melbourne’s diverse community at the heart of our decision-making and the delivery of their services. Deliver specialist flood engagement and stakeholder communications content, support and direction for their engagement Program whilst driving their community engagement approach across the Customer and Community streams of the Flood Awareness Engagement Program, to ensure a customer-centric approach to project delivery. This involves face-to-face and digital engagement strategies, which may include door knocking and project management or events with the communities. You will develop supporting materials to deliver the strategic communication and engagement plan, such as communications collateral, reports, digital content, bulletins, social media, events, etc. which may include working across extended hours, including community engagement sessions after hours and on weekends.
