Your new role
Due to continued project demand, the business is seeking experienced Contract Administrators to support a major health project in metropolitan Sydney. Reporting to the Senior Contracts team, you will play a key role in the commercial and contract administration functions on site.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the project procurement strategy to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Managing head contract and subcontract variations
- Administering subcontractor and supplier claims in line with internal systems and processes
- Assisting with contract finalisation tasks, including defects management and variation tracking
- Preparing and contributing to monthly commercial and progress reports
- Working closely with the wider project team to ensure cost control and contract compliance
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in contract and financial administration on construction projects, ideally within the building sector.
You will also bring:
- Proven experience working on project‑based construction sites
- A background on large or complex building developments
- A construction‑related or engineering degree
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
- Experience using construction management systems such as contract administration or document control platforms (training will be provided where required)
