Your new role
As the Team Leader / Second in Charge, you will support day to day cleaning operations across multiple contracted sites. You will work closely with the senior manager to coordinate staff, maintain quality standards and provide hands-on leadership across all facilities. This position is ideal for someone who leads by example, communicates clearly and thrives in a fast-moving, multi-site environment.
Key responsibilities include:
•Supervising cleaning teams across several locations
•Coordinating rosters, timesheets and task allocation
•Conducting quality checks, audits and daily reporting
•Training, mentoring and supporting junior staff
•Liaising with on-site stakeholders and responding to operational needs
•Travelling between sites using a company vehicle
What you'll need to succeed
Our client is seeking someone with:
•Experience in multi-site cleaning operations (classrooms, common areas, bathrooms, periodicals)
•Proven supervisory or team leadership capabilities
•Strong communication and organisational skills
•A proactive, independent and solution-focused approach
•A valid Australian driving licence (P plates acceptable)
•A Working with Children Check and police check (or willingness to obtain)
•Confidence managing logistics and workflows across multiple locations
•The role is based in the Jindabyne region : relocation IS required for applicants outside this region and valid working rights in Australia are a must for application.
Leadership qualities and a desire to grow into expanded responsibilities will be highly regarded.
