The team you will support plays a vital role in enabling operational efficiency and financial stewardship through accurate inventory data, insightful reporting, and continuous improvement across supply chain and procurement functions.

Your new role

This opportunity places you in a specialist analytical role supporting inventory, supply chain, and procurement operations through high‑quality data, reporting, and insights. In this role, you will:
  • Analyse inventory, purchasing, and supply chain data to support effective demand planning, forecasting, and stock optimisation across the organisation.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of inventory and master data across systems, supporting reliable reporting and informed decision‑making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to monitor stock levels, usage trends, expiry risk, stock turns, and financial impacts.
  • Partner with supply, procurement, and finance teams to identify opportunities to reduce waste, minimise expired or obsolete stock, and improve value‑for‑money outcomes.
  • Support demand planning by analysing historical usage, seasonal trends, and operational activity to inform forecast accuracy and stock setting.
  • Provide analytical insights to support business cases, audits, governance reporting, and executive decision‑making.
  • Identify data‑driven risks related to supply disruptions, critical stock items, or data anomalies, escalating issues where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, streamlining inventory and reporting processes, and supporting system enhancements.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to translate data insights into practical operational improvements.
You will report to a senior leader within the procurement or supply chain function and play a key role in strengthening inventory control, data maturity, and performance oversight across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

This role is well suited to an experienced inventory, supply chain, or data professional who enjoys working in a complex operational environment and influencing outcomes through analytics and insight.
We’re looking for someone who offers:
  • Experience in inventory management, supply chain analysis, procurement analytics, or a similar data‑focused operational role.Strong data integrity and governance awareness, with the ability to interpret, validate, and analyse complex datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience developing reports, dashboards, or analytical insights to support operational or financial decisions.
  • Confidence working with ERP systems and data tools (e.g. SAP, Power BI, Excel).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non‑technical audiences.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify and implement practical, data‑led enhancements.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
