Join a major Victorian State Government agency leading a multiyear digital health transformation program. This organisation is delivering a statewide Health Information Exchange that enables secure and seamless sharing of clinical information across Victoria’s public health services. You’ll be part of a dedicated program team supporting the onboarding of multiple health services as this critical platform continues its state-wide rollout.
Your new role
As the Integration Test Analyst, you will play a key role within the Technical Integration Services work stream. You’ll be responsible for designing, executing and reporting on integration test activities across a complex digital health environment.
Your work will ensure the accuracy and quality of HL7/CDA/FHIR message exchanges, validate data mappings, and support onboarding activities for health services across Victoria. Key duties include:
Designing and executing integration test cases for HL7 v2, CDA and FHIR messages
Developing and maintaining test plans, scripts, defect logs and traceability matrices
Conducting end‑to‑end system integration testing (SIT) and supporting UAT cycles
Validating data mappings, routing logic and message transformations
Identifying, logging and managing defects through to resolution
Coordinating test activities with technical teams, clinical informatics and partner agencies
Producing clear test summary reports for program and stakeholder updates
Supporting regression testing and contributing to automation where appropriate
Participating in go‑live readiness and post‑implementation validation activities
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
Proven experience in integration testing within health or large enterprise ICT environments
Strong understanding of HL7 v2 messaging and clinical integration concepts
Demonstrated ability to manage defects, test documentation and reporting
Experience coordinating testing activities across multiple stakeholder groups
Previous exposure to Victorian health sector or state government environments
