A leading national consulting organisation is expanding its established Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations capability. With a strong onshore/offshore delivery model, a high‑performing team and a robust pipeline of new ERP transformation work, the organisation is seeking experienced Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultants to support a range of complex, advisory‑led client engagements across both private and public sectors.
About the Team
Established Dynamics 365 F&O practice with consistent growth
Approximately 45 specialists across Australia
Project delivery across the Federal Government, state governments and major private‑sector clients
Strong pipeline, including several approved programs awaiting capacity
Advisory‑focused consulting environment with an emphasis on genuine business outcomes.
The Role
As a Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant, you will shape, design and deliver Finance & Operations solutions across a diverse client base. The role requires strong functional capability, clear communication skills and the ability to translate real‑world business problems into practical ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and participate in functional workshops across core F&O modules. Analyse and translate business requirements into comprehensive functional designs. Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment with product capability. Support testing, training, deployment and post‑go‑live activities
Contribute to complex ERP transformation programs across multiple sectors •Operate within an advisory‑led consulting model rather than a delivery‑centred approach
Essential Experience
Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX)
Strong understanding of core F&O modules and cross‑functional processes Ability to communicate clearly with business stakeholders without relying on technical jargon
Understanding of how functional and technical components interact within the product
Experience advising and guiding clients through decision‑making
Previous consulting or professional services experience
Curiosity about the future of ERP and broader business transformation trends
Ability to understand end‑to‑end business processes, not just system functionality
Strong stakeholder engagement and a consultative mindset
