This prominent authority within the Victorian State Government is seeking a Content Designer responsible for designing, developing and publishing high-quality digital content for a website development project. The role focusses on creating user-centred content that complies with Victorian Government's digital standards to enhance usability, accessibility, and digital engagement, supporting delivery of organisational objectives. You will source, write, edit, and publish clear, user-centred digital content for the website in alignment with business objectives and Victorian Government digital standards, to a fixed deadline. Coordinate quality assurance checks, develop content strategies, contribute to the development of governance frameworks for ongoing content management, including performance measures for continuous improvement, and provide strategic advice to internal clients on digital communications and news opportunities and progress and potential issues.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong writing and editing skills for web and digital channels

• Attention to detail and confidence identifying gaps in information

• Working knowledge of accessibility, SEO and AI driven content processes

• Experience using content management systems such as Squiz Matrix or Drupal

• Strong stakeholder skills and the ability to influence outcomes.
