Mid - Senior Power Platform Developer (3-Month Government Contract)

You’ll be engaged by a government department delivering large-scale digital services that support essential public outcomes. The organisation is investing heavily in modern Microsoft-based platforms to improve service delivery and internal efficiency.

Your new role
This contract opportunity will see you taking a hands-on role in the development and enhancement of Microsoft Power Platform solutions. You’ll be responsible for designing and building Power Apps and Power Automate workflows, as well as integrating these solutions with systems such as Dynamics 365, SharePoint and other enterprise platforms used across the department.
As a mid–senior level contributor, you’ll be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, provide technical input into solution design and support less experienced team members where required. The initial engagement is expected to run for approximately three months, with strong potential for extension based on delivery outcomes and ongoing demand.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful, you’ll demonstrate solid commercial experience across the Microsoft Power Platform, including delivering production-grade Power Apps and automation solutions. A strong understanding of integrating Microsoft technologies – particularly Dynamics 365, SharePoint and internal data sources – will be essential.
Experience developing with C# for custom components, plugins or system integrations will be highly regarded. Exposure to AI-enabled capabilities, such as Copilot-style tools or intelligent automation concepts, will be viewed favourably. You’ll also bring the ability to operate confidently in a government environment, balancing delivery focus with governance and quality standards.
