Your new role

• Leading the design management of civil foundations for transmission towers across multiple projects
• Providing technical oversight to ensure compliance with Australian and international standards
• Coordinating design interfaces between geotechnical, structural, tower, and construction teams
• Supporting constructability reviews, value engineering, and risk mitigation strategies
• Managing design inputs from overseas design houses in collaboration with local engineering teams
• Ensuring designs are aligned with project safety, cost, programme, and quality objectives

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience designing foundations for Lattice Towers, Monopoles, and Guyed Towers
• Strong capability across Pile, Pad & Chimney, and Rock Anchor foundation systems

• Practical, hands-on experience applying IEC, AS/NZS, and relevant Australian Standards
• Ability to interpret and apply standards within a project delivery environment

• Strong understanding of geotechnical investigation reports and soil/rock parameters
• Experience selecting optimal foundation solutions based on ground conditions, constructability, and risk

• Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across engineering, construction, and project controls
• Experience working with international engineering teams and managing technical interfaces

• Proven ability to identify design risks and propose alternative, value-engineered solutions
• Consideration of constructability, cost efficiency, and programme impacts in design decisions.
• Extensive experience in overhead transmission or major linear infrastructure projects
• A collaborative leadership style and the ability to operate in complex, fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with senior project stakeholders
