Your new role
As a Business Services Manager, you will play a key role in leading a high-performing team and delivering exceptional outcomes for a portfolio of SME and private group clients. You’ll manage client relationships end-to-end, provide strategic advice, and mentor junior team members while working closely with partners to drive both client and team success.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing complex financial statements and tax returns, overseeing workflow and resourcing, and contributing to the ongoing development of systems, processes and people. This role offers a blend of technical work, leadership and client-facing advisory, making it ideal for someone ready to step into a broader management role within a supportive environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Proven experience at Manager level (or strong Assistant Manager ready to step up) within a public practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting, tax compliance and advisory
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing team members
- A proactive mindset and a genuine desire to contribute to a positive team culture
Experience working with SME clients across a broad range of industries will be highly regarded.
