Your new company
My client is a well-established organisation delivering a broad range of programs, projects and initiatives for the community. They are seeking an experienced Communications & Marketing Advisor to join their team for a 6–8 week period (potential extension), providing high-level support across communications, marketing and engagement activities.
Your new role
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of communication and marketing campaigns that connect with both internal and external audiences. You will provide strategic advice to stakeholders, manage projects from initiation through to completion, and ensure content is delivered across a range of channels including publications, events, social media, websites and internal communications.
You will also play a key role in protecting and enhancing the organisation’s reputation by managing branding, advising on community engagement strategies, and identifying and mitigating potential risks. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers, you will ensure campaigns are delivered to a high standard and evaluated effectively to measure their impact and success.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities at any given time with competing deadlines
- The ability to work autonomously with limited direction
- Experience in communications and marketing, delivering campaigns end-to-end
- Proven project management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Confidence producing content across digital, social and traditional channels
- Stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Previous experience in a government environment will be highly regarded
- You must hold a valid National Police Clearance
- Availability to commence immediately for the duration of the contract onsite, based in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide
