Your new role
A well-established industrial operation is seeking qualified Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters and Welders for ongoing local workshop positions working Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday over time. These roles are offered on a labour hire basis, with a clear pathway to permanent employment for suitable candidates.
Your duties include:

• Boilermaker / Welder
• Fabricate steel and metal components
• Assemble and fit components
• Welding
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawing and specifications

Mechanical Fitter

• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on plant, machinery and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out corrective repairs
• Operating and maintaining specialised equipment safely and efficiently
• Participating in workshop builds, site projects and shutdown activities.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will hold the relevant trade certificate and prior industry experience in the trade.

• Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• Welder: ability to pass a weld test
• Working at heights and confined space tickets are highly desirable
• Construction White Card

• Boilermaker & Mechanical Fitter - $50ph + penalties
• Welder - $45ph + penalties
