Hays are currently recruiting for an experienced MR/HR Truck Driver to join a reputable organisation within the civil construction and road maintenance sector. Your New Role

In this role, you will be working as part of an asphalt crew, supporting daily operations across road surfacing and maintenance projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating MR/HR trucks to transport asphalt and materials to job sites
  • Assisting with asphalt laying, compaction, and general labouring tasks
  • Conducting pre‑start checks and ensuring all equipment is operated safely
  • Working collaboratively with crew members to meet project timelines
  • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping and safety compliance
What You’ll Need to Succeed

To be considered, you will have:

  • A valid MR or HR truck licence
  • Proven experience working within asphalt or road construction environments
  • Strong awareness of safety procedures and adherence to WHS policies
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks as required
  • Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude
