Your new role

The ERP SAP S/4HANA S2P Project Manager needs to be a strong project minded individual, with extensive experience around large S2P migration and transformation projects. The right candidate will have strong customer facing skills and a strong understanding of Service Delivery. It is imperative this person is goal and outcome driven. The role will have project management responsibility for all S2P deliverables and design & delivery tasks and will ensure that the S2P project aligns with the needs of business, technology, program timeframes, resource plans and budgets, and will comply with relevant legislation, procurement guidelines, governance, and professional standards. The role leads and manages a project team of technical and analytical staff as well as third party providers.
Key accountabilities:
  • Deliver and implement all technical aspects of the ERP Program’s S2P stream within the agreed governance framework and SAP Activate methodology.
  • Plan, implement and monitor all technical aspects of the S2P stream’s overall progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions as appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the S2P stream delivery schedule and ensure all deliverables are produced in accordance with quality standards and approved by the relevant program governance body.
  • Manage technical project budget/s and monitor the expenditure and forecast cost against delivered and realised benefits as the program progresses.
  • Manage technical change management [variations] and delivery for the S2P stream in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Drive and support the successful realisation of the Business Benefits.
  • Deliver asset cost reconciliation and exception reporting to govern full asset lifecycle financials, maintenance resource allocations, and capital expenditure tracking.
  • Develop relationships and work with the Finance and Procurement Project Managers to align and integrate SAP S2P asset data with S/4HANA modules, ensuring sS2Pless integration with Finance, Procurement, and Enterprise Asset Management business functions.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in delivering end-to-end technical SAP ERP S2P implementations, at minimum S2P, as a S2P Stream Lead or S2P Project Manager.
  • 15+ years of technical project management delivery experience with specific evidence of having: managed and delivered ERP S2P projects, across the full SDLC, for complex data migration of large enterprise S2P migrations and integrations; experience of industry standards for release management and transition of all artefacts and products to BAU.
  • Experience in managing the development of comprehensive requirements analyses, traceability matrices, functional and technical specifications for SAP ERP S2P migrations and implementations
