Your new company
You will be joining a team delivering a short proof‑of‑concept project focused on building a NSW public‑facing website. The site will include interactive maps that show service locations and service usage for a range of family‑based programs. The project also includes some supporting data and infrastructure work connected to InfoShare. The environment is exploratory, with limited guidelines, so the team will shape the approach as they go.
Your new role
In this role, you will lead the spatial analysis and mapping component of the project. You’ll work with service and client location data to identify patterns, trends, usage levels and geographic gaps. You will create map layers and visualisations that integrate into the new website and support early prototypes. Because this is a POC piece of work with evolving requirements, you will be expected to work independently, interpret unclear briefs, suggest options, and help define what the mapping deliverables should look like.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong hands‑on capability with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online/Portal
Demonstrated spatial analysis skills and the ability to interpret data meaningfully
Experience preparing, cleaning and publishing geospatial datasets
Ability to create dashboards or supporting visuals (e.g., Tableau, ArcGIS Dashboards, Data Studio)
Comfortable working with ambiguity and shaping solutions without clear guidelines
Ability to think laterally and propose mapping approaches suited to a POC environment
Strong communication skills to explain mapping insights to project, digital and data teams
What you'll get in return
Contract till June 2026, Competitive daily rates, remote work from anywhere in Australia
