Senior CyberArk Engineer working for a government agency

You will be working for a government agency based in Sydney CBD.

Your new role

You will lead the design, enhancement, and day‑to‑day operations of agency's CyberArk environment, ensuring privileged credentials, sessions, and access workflows are managed securely and efficiently across a hybrid technology ecosystem. You’ll work closely with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to drive best‑practice PAM controls and enable a secure, resilient technology foundation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience engineering and administering CyberArk solutions in large or complex environments.
  • Deep technical understanding of CyberArk modules such as EPV, CPM, PSM, PTA, and Conjur.
  • Strong experience onboarding privileged accounts across Windows, Linux, network, database, and application layers.
  • Hands‑on scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs).
  • Strong familiarity with Azure AD, Windows Server, Linux systems, networking, and cloud/virtualised platforms.
  • Understanding of regulatory and security frameworks (ACSC Essential 8, ISM, PSPF).
