Our client is a recognised ASX 200 company dealing in integrated services operating across Australia and New Zealand.

Your new role

• Designing gateway services across enterprise and defence environments, ensuring protocol‑level enforcement and secure boundary architecture.
• Developing gateway patterns for TLS inspection, API, mail, file and DNS proxy services.
• Supporting gateway configuration and design using Palo Alto Networks firewalls aligned to ASD ISM and Defence A&A frameworks.
• Ensuring compliance with ISM, PSPF, DSPF, FMN and broader Defence standards.
• Integrating telemetry, policy, and configuration management into accredited gateway operations.
• Providing specialist firewall, boundary control and Zero Trust gateway expertise to cybersecurity and architecture teams.

What you'll need to succeed

• Expert knowledge of Palo Alto Networks PAN‑OS 10/11+, Panorama, Prisma Access, and ASD Gateway accreditation.
• Demonstrated expertise in boundary control aligned with ISM/PSPF/DSPF standards.
• Experience designing and operating gateways in air‑gapped or edge‑cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust gateway patterns.
• Familiarity with ACP240 Data Centric Security and FMN Spiral profiles.
• Ability to integrate telemetry, policy management, and configuration automation within secure environments.
• Active NV1 Security Clearance
