Your new role
You will manage a varied portfolio of residential property matters across ACT and NSW. This includes handling sales, purchases, off‑the‑plan transactions, building contracts and property transfers from initial instruction through to completion.
Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing and drafting documentation associated with property transactions.
• Identifying risks and advising clients clearly and confidently.
• Coordinating with agents, lenders and other external parties to progress matters smoothly.
• Staying up to date with changes in legislation and conveyancing processes.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all work meets compliance requirements.
• Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting junior staff where required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring:
• A current practising certificate (or eligibility), or qualifications as a licensed conveyancer, or recent law graduate ready for admission.
• An understanding of residential conveyancing, ideally with some practical experience.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent client service.
• High attention to detail, good organisation and the ability to work well in a busy environment.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to continue developing your expertise.
• Familiarity with digital conveyancing tools, including PEXA and practice management systems (advantageous).
• A collaborative mindset and strong team values.
