Your new role

The Service Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of Support at Home and Commonwealth Home Support Programs and other services for older people at home. The role ensures services are high-quality, efficiently scheduled and delivered and comply with legislation, regulations and standards. This role supervises Care Partners for the intake, planning, monitoring and review of supports for older people within the constraints of pooled care management minutes and best utilises client budgets to support their independence.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential requirements:
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in aged care, community services or health management
  • Cert IV, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Aged Care, Nursing, Health Services, Social Work, or Business Management
  • Required to provide a satisfactory National Criminal History Record (Police Check) that is not more than three months old on employment and that complies with the requirements of the Aged Care Act 2024 prior to commencement of employment.
  • Registration to Work with Vulnerable People including NDIS endorsement
  • Open Driver's Licence AND
  • Service Planning and Management skills

  • People Management

  • Quality and Compliance – conduct or support audits of associated providers

  • Financial and Budget Management

  • Work Health and Safety

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Participant Advocacy

This position is primarily located in Franklin, with some travel to Nubeena as required (a fleet car is available for these visits). Free parking on site.
