Your new role

• Provide project support to fuel terminal operations teams to deliver solutions impacting safety, reliability, or efficiency by liaising with contractors, the delivery partner and internal stakeholders.
• Act as the interface between site-based teams and the delivery partner's engineering and execution functions for design, modification, and improvement projects.
• Ensure engineering activities and operational changes comply with all applicable regulatory and standards.
• Participate in project peer reviews, HAZOPs, and design validation processes as required
• Participate in on-site project commissioning activities in an assurance capacity.
• In conjunction with Terminal Managers, and delivery partners manage project provider scope and provide value assurance to Sustaining Capital projects, Maintenance projects, Commercial Growth projects
• Participate and be the Sustaining Capital projects, Maintenance projects, Commercial Growth projects representative for all regional site based project development and SABER budget activities.
• Ensure Terminal Managers and the regional Head of Operations are kept up to date on project variations.
• Lead the development and definition of scopes for projects and assist the regional terminal operations teams with project delivery as required and ensure all projects are aligned with business strategies and objectives.
• Work with terminal managers, maintenance, HSE, and engineering teams to define objectives, technical requirements, and deliverables.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent project related disciplines.
• Project Management Professional or similar qualification is preferred.
• Extensive relevant engineering or project delivery experience in fuel terminals, infrastructure, or an industrial environment.
• Strong track record in project scoping, planning, and stakeholder interface.
• Understanding of capital project lifecycles, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple sites or regions (travel as required).
• High level of attention to detail, commercial awareness, and stakeholder engagement ability.
• Experience working closely with Finance, procurement, engineering, and operational teams.
