Your new role
As a H&S Advisor / H&S Coordinator, you will provide on‑site health and safety support to operations and contractors on an active mining site. Working an 8/6 roster on 12‑hour shifts, you will play a key role in promoting safe work practices, ensuring legislative compliance, and supporting continuous improvement in safety performance. This role involves a strong on‑site presence, working closely with supervisors and leadership to identify hazards, manage risk, and respond to incidents.

What you’ll need to succeed
Previous site experience as a H&S Advisor or H&S Coordinator
Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both operators and managers
Confidence to challenge unsafe work and intervene when required
Calm, professional approach during incidents and investigations
Strong reporting, documentation, and computer skills
