Your new role
As the Test Manager for this transformation, you will lead the testing workstream for the new HCM and Payroll solution, covering Workday HCM and Aurion Payroll. You will work closely with testing leads, subject-matter experts, technical teams and implementation partners to ensure full test coverage and delivery of a high-quality payroll outcome aligned to business requirements and certified agreements.
Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the Test Strategy and Test Plan, managing test scenarios and scripts, coordinating end-to-end testing phases, overseeing defect triage and maintaining traceability throughout the lifecycle. You will also prepare executive level reporting and support cutover and dress rehearsal activities.
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience testing Workday HCM and Aurion Payroll
- Strong understanding of Workday functional areas, integrations and configuration
- In depth payroll knowledge including EBAs, awards, penalties, loadings, allowances and statutory obligations
- Proven capability in test planning, test execution and defect management
- Ability to develop test scripts aligned to certified agreements and complex business rules
- Strong communication skills with experience preparing management level reporting
- Ability to quickly integrate into an in-flight program and work effectively with business, technical and project stakeholders
