HAYS Technology is seeking to hire an APS5 IT Service Desk Analyst for a leading Federal Government Department located in Canberra, ACT.
Your new role
The IT Service Desk Analyst will be involved in providing first-level technical assistance and customer support for GENESYS systems. This role is critical in ensuring timely resolution of issues, maintaining high service standards, and delivering a positive user experience across all GENESYS systems.
What you'll need to succeed
Applicant should have:
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on delivering outcomes.
- Ability to learn quickly and develop an understanding of diverse Defence business areas.
- Familiarity with current industry standards for effective Level 1 Helpdesk support.
- Knowledge and experience in identifying and analysing system performance issues and user support challenges.
- Flexible approach to working across a variety of tasks within a small team environment.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Holding active NV1 clearance
- Prior experience in Army, Defence or GENESYS Business Unit.
Desirable criteria
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of the ICT software development lifecycle.
- Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
