Your new company

Victorian state government entity which acts as a protector and risk manager, dedicated to safeguarding the people, places, and projects that enable local population to flourish is looking to hire an Enterprise Data Modeler for an initial 6-month contract.


Your new role
As an Enterprise Data Modeller, you will lead the design and development of the organisation’s Enterprise Data Model—a cornerstone of its digital transformation program. You’ll assess the current data landscape, define future-state architecture, and ensure alignment between business requirements and data design. This role involves collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to formalise data structures, strengthen governance, and enable scalable analytics.


What you'll need to succeed

As an expert you’ll be expected to have extensive experience in enterprise-level data modelling and design. You’ll also need:
  • Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data models across complex ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles, governance, and integration.
  • Proficiency in modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Erwin, or similar.
  • Ability to reverse-engineer data models from legacy systems and APIs.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science, information systems, or related fields.
