Your new company
We are working with a federal government agency who is investing heavily in a multi-year cloud and data transformation aligned to a whole-of-organisation digital strategy. This uplift is modernising cloud capability, consolidating legacy data platforms, strengthening governance, and enabling enterprise‑wide analytics and AI adoption.
You will join the Cloud Infrastructure, Architecture and Strategy division on a long-term contract through to 30 June 2026, with up to two 12‑month extensions. Flexible hybrid work is available across ACT, QLD, NSW and VIC.
Due to project requirements, you must be an Australian citizen able to obtain Baseline clearance.
Your new role
You will join a high-performing team of senior specialists helping to design and implement the organisation’s future-state cloud and data platforms. Two senior architect positions are available, each playing a key role in shaping the organisation’s future-state cloud and data landscape.
As a Cloud Architect, you will lead the development of the organisation’s cloud capability, including the Cloud Operating Model, enterprise Landing Zone architecture and long-term SaaS lifecycle roadmaps. You will provide technical leadership across cloud migrations, modernisation of legacy applications and alignment with whole-of-government standards.
As a Data Architect with strong engineering depth, you will design the strategy for consolidating legacy data stores into a unified modern cloud data platform. You will build and optimise cloud-native data pipelines, uplift data governance, and enable enterprise analytics and AI through well-structured data models and platform patterns.
Both roles will work closely with partner agencies, senior stakeholders, delivery teams and governance boards to ensure architectural alignment and strategic forward planning.
