Pay Rate: $387.12 – $568 per day + Super

Your New Role
As a Program Officer – Parks, you will play a key role in delivering the annual capital works park renewal program. You’ll manage projects across the full lifecycle—from planning and design through to procurement, construction, and handover—ensuring quality, safety, and value for money outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver multiple park renewal projects within agreed budgets, scope, and timeframes.
  • Prepare briefs, designs, specifications, and manage contracts for landscape and civil works.
  • Administer Minor Landscape Works contracts and oversee procurement processes.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with WHS and legislative requirements.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, contractors, and the community to ensure successful outcomes.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in project management, landscape architecture/design, civil engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing parks and open space projects from design through delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of civil and landscape construction methods and project lifecycle stages.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Understanding of procurement, contract management, and financial controls.
  • Current NSW Class C driver’s licence - pool cars available
